Get to know The Alumni Forest<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Every <\/span>Alumni FOREST<\/span><\/b> tree represents a seed to help make the planet greener, as well as a boost for the community where it is planted and the farmer who looks after it.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Each tree is planted with two goals in mind: to help reduce cO22 in our atmosphere and contribute towards the development of the communities where they grow.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

They all have someone who takes care of them\u2014a local farmer\u2014and a sponsor\u2014an Alumni. Furthermore, they feature geolocation so that sponsors can follow their progress online, and even visit them if they wish.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Choose your tree<\/strong><\/h5>\n
A farmer will plant it on their land and will look after it. Your tree will be photographed and geolocated.<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n

Follow its story<\/strong><\/h5>\n
Your tree will have its own page online, where over time it will tell you what it will help to achieve.<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n

You\u2019ll be supporting farming communities<\/strong><\/h5>\n
The fruit of your tree will belong to the farmer taking care of them, who can use them as food or to support their income.<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n

You\u2019ll be making the planet greener<\/strong><\/h5>\n
As your tree grows, it will absorb CO, as well as protect the soil and biodiversity.<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Our first challenge is to plant 1,000 trees of various species in 4 countries: Kenya, Tanzania, <\/span>Ecuador<\/span> and Madagascar.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

To sponsor a tree, you just need to follow these steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Send us an email<\/a><\/strong> requesting your tree along with your record number.<\/li>\n
  2. We\u2019ll email you with a link - that\u2019s the seed of your tree!<\/li>\n
  3. Create a profile on the platform (it\u2019ll take you less than 1 minute) and choose the tree you wish to plant.<\/li>\n
  4. Follow your tree\u2019s progress via its page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
