Ibertec is accepting applications for its 6th round of paid fellowships for graduates in Veterinary Medicine and Agricultural Engineering — Deadline: July 31

Ibérica de Tecnología Avícola (Ibertec), a leading company in poultry genetic breeding and a benchmark in the sector in Spain and Portugal, is announcing its 6th edition of paid fellowships for recent graduates in Veterinary Medicine or Agricultural Engineering who are interested in pursuing a career in poultry farming.

Three distinct positions are available, all starting in October 2026 and lasting three months. Fellows will receive a monthly stipend of €1,000.

  • Hatchery Technician: Practical training in quality control and incubation, including the inspection of hatching eggs, monitoring of process parameters, on-site vaccination and evaluation of day-old chicks. Review the requirements here.
  • Breeding Farm Technician: Training in the production and management of breeding stock on breeding, rearing and laying farms, including monitoring production and reproductive parameters. Review the terms and conditions here.
  • Technical-Commercial Department: Applied perspective on technical fieldwork, including farm visits, monitoring of day-old chicks, providing technical assistance to producers and analysing production results. Review the terms and conditions here.
