Verify your personal information

Before requesting your certificates, check your personal details through the Student Portal:

  • Name and last name(s).
  • Nationality.
  • Date of birth

You can modify these details by uploading a copy of both sides of your national ID card via the Student Portal (academic information – requests).

If you are a current student:

Go to the student portal, to the section on academic information > Certificates and degrees

If you have completed your studies:

Go to the platform for certificates and degree requests.

How to apply

Complete the application by following these steps:

Select the certificates you need.

Select the certificate you are looking for from the list. If you do not find it in the list, select ‘specific certificate’ and in the ‘observations’ field below, describe the certificate you need.

Make the payment.

Select the card payment option and complete the application.

What types of certificates are most frequently requested?

Important:

All certificates are issued electronically.

Certificates for the recognition of your degree in another country

 

In addition to paying the fees for the issue of the corresponding official degree certificate and requesting a degree substitute document, students who are seeking recognition of their degree abroad normally request:

  • Personal academic certificate.
  • Academic course syllabuses.

 

Moreover, Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy students who wish to obtain recognition of their degree in France usually require the following certificates:

  • Specific internship certificate.
  • Specific no sanction certificate.

 

Important:

If you are seeking recognition for your degree, before making any certificate requests it is advisable to:

  • Ensure that your academic transcript status indicates that you have completed your studies.
  • Contact the organization you need to present the certificates to, so that they can advise you on which certificates you should request.

 

Which certificates can I legalize?

 

To legalise certificates, you must tick the box ‘Leg. Min’ when accessing the platform for certificates and degree requests. Your certificate will be sent to you signed by the person in charge at the secretary’s office.

These are the certificates and diplomas that you can legalise:

  • Official university degrees valid throughout Spain, issued by the rector of the university in question.
  • Degree substitute document.
  • Official academic certificates of studies leading to the award of the degrees mentioned in the previous sections.
    Also, please note that the ministry will only legalize your personal academic certificate if you have completed your studies.
