Learn about the Nima House project

Nima House is a new concept of a ready-made ecological “micro-home” that, once built, can be transported via a single vehicle, and can also be redesigned in the future to adapt to the demands and needs of its occupants.

María says that what she has always enjoyed most about her work is undoubtedly the creative process: looking for new ideas, finding inspiration in what excites her. She says that each new project is a creative challenge to which she must respond in a personalised way.

Therefore, in 2021, driven by the popularity of small houses together with her concern for climate change and her worries about the housing crisis, María began to devise the Nima House project.

Nima House is a new concept of a ready-made ecological “micro-home” that, once built, can be transported via a single vehicle, and can also be redesigned in the future to adapt to the demands and needs of its occupants.

The Nima House project pursues some fundamental objectives with regard to its design. These include functionality as a home, the use of space, energy efficiency (with a zero carbon footprint), the possibility of extension with other units, and high quality materials and design.

In short, a Nima House is a small but efficient house, designed for today’s society: changing, environmentally aware and concerned about the economic climate.
